Marketing Plan Development
Photo: A drawn out plan for a building Whether we're marketing an entire campaign or one specialty product, Macro begins with a plan specifically tailored to your objectives and target audience. Using in-depth analysis and creative problem solving, we work through our plan from start to finish, always monitoring our activities, anticipating problems, and implementing solutions before serious mistakes occur. Our team is adept at developing Web marketing plans, which are fluid and adaptable to the ever-changing technology of the Internet, as well as traditional marketing plans.

We helped develop GetFit.SAMHSA.Gov—an interactive workplace health promotion Web site—for the Center for Substance Abuse Prevention, and we developed an 18-month marketing plan to support the rollout of GetFit to workplaces across the Nation. Our plan included materials development (postcards, bookmarks, and fact sheets) as well as Web-based promotional materials (e-cards and banners). We also planned and supported various marketing activities through Webcasts, conference exhibits, and tabletop display units.

Macro revitalized "Reality Check," a substance abuse education Web site for parents, caregivers, and prevention professionals. Few new visitors were coming to the site, and the ones who did visit only stayed a short time. We developed a new marketing plan in which the Web site was completely redesigned to be more user friendly and to allow for a marketing platform. The redesign made the site appear more cutting edge, better organized, and allowed for viral marketing and other strategies. Then, we updated the marketing plan to promote the Web site as new and improved. After the new site was launched, traffic to the site more than doubled.
