|  National Immunization Program (NIP) Evaluation
Macro assessed NIP, evaluating its operating procedures and information
dissemination flow. To do this, we used a multi-modal approach so that
we could evaluate both formal and informal processes within the organization.
Our tools included a self-administered survey of all staff, face-to-face
interviews of select staff, and a workflow analysis tracing several processes
within NIP. Based on our findings, we made recommendations on how to
enhance
management and communication practices, facilitate decisionmaking processes,
and enhance employee morale.
 STOP IT NOW! Evaluation
For the National Center on Injury Prevention and Control, Macro evaluated STOP IT NOW!, an innovative multimedia campaign on child sexual abuse that aims to replace a punitive approach with an approach based on providing treatment for offenders. We conducted extensive process measurement of changes in policies, practices, and procedures of the legal and treatment sectors in the program's demonstration community. As a result, STOP IT NOW! was able to determine the format and content of information that would be most persuasive to city officials, develop more effective relationships with the media, and better use their networks to form strategic partnerships.
